Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Chef Vancouver, this position is responsible for entering data into Material Management Software Systems including SAP and C-BASE. This requires input of quantities, yield recipe specifications. This position also provides support within the pricing and production departments, creating specifications, maintaining specification books and administrative support.

Job Duties:

- Determines order and production quantities by referring to airline specifications, meal orders and CBASE/SAP information
- Supports and gets guidance from the Menu Design Coordinator
- Keeping up to date Equipment specifications and needs
- Developing specifications and providing vendors with Equipment specifications as required.
- Enters recipes/data in CBASE; verify data entered
- Upkeep of Printed book and specifications
- Participates in meetings with managers
- Able to do shift work and availability through the week
- Fill in for reception duties when assigned
- Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities Required:

- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to multi task and enter data accurately in a timely manner
- Experience in ordering and identifying ingredients an asset
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point; speed and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to deal with multiple demands and adjust work priorities in a very high volume environment




- Proven experience with process standards, databases and data entry
- Ability to make independent decisions with defined guidelines
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
