The Personal Care Assistant delivers care for residents in accordance with the plan of care and established policies and procedures. They provide direct personal care and assists residents with activities of daily living. The Personal Care Assistant participates as part of an interprofessional team.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or an active nursing student
- Minimum 1 year of experience in LTC is required
- Qualifications as outlined in the Fixing Long Term Care Act
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
