SIMPLY LIGHTING – Permanent Lighting Sales Representative (Independent Contractor)

Simply Lighting is the new permanent lighting division of Simply Renewable, a Calgary-based residential solar company. Permanent lighting is a year-round, app-controlled exterior LED system installed along a home's roofline. Homeowners never have to hang holiday lights again, and they can change colours for every season, holiday, and occasion.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for self-driven sales reps to knock doors and sell permanent lighting to homeowners across Calgary. This is a 100% commission, independent contractor role. You earn $500 for every sale you close. There is no base pay and no cap.

Earning potential: $3,000 to $20,000 per month. Six sales a month is $3,000. Forty sales a month is $20,000. What you make is entirely up to your effort and skill.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Knock doors in residential neighbourhoods and start conversations with homeowners

- Present permanent lighting, answer questions, handle objections, and close sales

- Follow up with homeowners who need time to decide

- Hand sold jobs off to our install team and keep your customers informed

- Set your own schedule and your own targets

REQUIREMENTS

- Fluent spoken English

- Legally entitled to work in Canada

- Comfortable talking to strangers and hearing "no" often

- Reliable: you show up when you say you will

- Comfortable with a 100% commission, independent contractor arrangement

STRONGLY PREFERRED





- Door-to-door sales experience (solar, roofing, pest control, alarms, telecom, windows, etc.)

- Your own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence

- A proven track record in commission-based sales

CONTRACT DETAILS

- Independent contractor role (not employment). You are responsible for your own taxes and expenses.

- $500 commission per closed sale
