Job Description

Townley Dental is a well-established general dental practice located in Markham, Ontario. We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated full-time Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, enjoys working with patients, and works well in a collaborative dental environment.

Work Schedule

- Full-time position, 4 days per week
- Specific working days will be determined based on the clinic's scheduling needs
- Approximately 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities

- Provide chairside assistance during general dental procedures
- Prepare and turn over dental operatories between patients
- Follow proper sterilization and infection prevention protocols
- Take dental radiographs when appropriately qualified
- Assist with patient preparation and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain dental instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Support efficient patient flow and daily clinical operations
- Assist with front desk duties as needed
- Work collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff




- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

- Dental assisting education or previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Level II Dental Assistant certification is an asset but not required
- HARP certification is an asset
- Previous general dentistry experience preferred
- Previous dental front desk or reception experience is preferred
- Familiarity with ABELDent software is an asset
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
