Position Summary

Mansour Fabrication is seeking a full-time, permanent Shop Labourer/Sandblaster to join our team. This position involves supporting the day-to-day operations of the shop, including shipping and receiving, general shop and warehouse duties, bandsaw operation, and sandblasting as required.

No formal experience is required for this role, however, applicants with experience in construction, carpentry, manufacturing, warehouse operations, or similar industrial roles will be considered an asset.

Duties & Responsibilities





- Perform sandblasting and surface preparation work as required.
- Operate a bandsaw as required for material preparation and fabrication work.
- Follows and complies with all government legislation and company policies & procedures.
- Ensure proper load securement for shipping and assist with unloading incoming shipment.
- Sort, organize, and maintain inventory of incoming and outgoing products.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including cleaning and organizing work areas.
- Participate in pre-job hazard assessments and inspections prior to commencing any job.
- Safely operate equipment in municipal and industrial settings.
- Assist in maintaining shop and equipment records.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Safety-focused attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience in construction, carpentry, manufacturing, warehouse operations, or similar industrial roles are considered an asset.
- Ability to pass required training, background check, and drug & alcohol testing.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to comply with all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset.
- Bandsaw experience is considered an asset.
- Sandblasting experience is considered an asset.
