A Support Services team member is required immediately due to fill a vacant position. This position entails covering for other cleaning staff who are absent due to illness, vacations or other reasons and requires travelling from one location to another in Brantford and surrounding areas.

Must be able to report to work at short notice.

Hours per per week vary - up to 40 hours per week. You will be required to work in more than one location as needed during days and/or evenings. Must be extremely flexible - this position does not follow a fixed schedule.

Duties include: sweeping, mopping, cleaning floors, cleaning and disinfecting washrooms including fixtures, cleaning lunchrooms and cafeterias, dusting, vacuuming, glass cleaning, garbage collection and removal, other cleaning duties as required.

A valid drivers license and own transportation a must.

Qualifications:

- previous cleaning experience in a commercial or industrial facility
- experience using floor care equipment
- history of excellent attendance at work




- good communication skills
- able to interact with both customers and co-workers in a respectful, professional manner at all times
- attention to detail
- customer service minded - you care about your work as a cleaner and the end result satisfies our customers requirements
- must have own vehicle
- must have safety shoes
- police check will be required - must be "transparent"
