Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate specializing in receiving and inventory control to join our client's team in Richmond, BC.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured warehouse environment, is comfortable using computers and inventory systems, and takes pride in maintaining accurate records and organized stock.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, documenting, and storing incoming shipments while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse.

Reach truck forklift experience and certification are strong assets. We are looking for someone who learns quickly, demonstrates initiative, and is interested in building a long-term career with the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documents.
- Unload, sort, and stage incoming materials and products.
- Enter received inventory information accurately into warehouse management and inventory systems.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, and shipment issues.
- Label, organize, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Prepare and distribute received materials to internal departments as required.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including reach truck forklifts and pallet jacks, when properly trained and authorized.
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and safe warehouse in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Required:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, receiving, inventory, or logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using computers and performing accurate data entry.
- Ability to learn current systems and procedures quickly.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (23 kg) and perform physical warehouse duties.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.

Preferred Assets:

- Reach truck forklift certification and operating experience.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory software.
- Knowledge of inventory control, receiving, and stock management procedures.
