Job Overview

This is a skilled position for someone who already knows their way around a large boring mill. You will be machining big work: large die and machine components. Setup is a big part of the job here, so you need to be confident rigging, moving, squaring up, and setting large blocks safely and accurately.

- Set up and run large horizontal boring mills on heavy, high-value work
- Handle, rig, and position large blocks and die shoes using overhead cranes
- Indicate, square, and align large workpieces to tight tolerances
- Read and interpret blueprints and work from setup sheets and programs
- Check your own work and keep quality high from first cut to final pass
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience running large boring mills
- Proven skill moving and setting up large blocks safely and precisely
- Solid blueprint reading and precision measurement skills
- A reliable, team-first attitude and valuable communication with your crew

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
