About Medico

Medico Construction & Design Ltd. is a Surrey-based general contractor that specializes in healthcare tenant improvements: optometry clinics, medical and dental clinics, and pharmacies. We handle design and construction from start to finish for healthcare operators across Western Canada. Medico is growing into a group of companies that will also cover real estate, equipment, finance and marketing for the healthcare sector, so there is real room to grow with us.

The role

Medico is expanding into Alberta, and we are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead that growth. You will open new markets in Calgary, Edmonton and across the province by building relationships with healthcare operators and the real estate community.

What you will do

- Launch and grow Medico's presence in the Alberta healthcare construction market

- Find and win clinic, dental, optometry and pharmacy tenant improvement projects

- Build relationships with healthcare owners, landlords, brokers, designers and developers

- Manage the sales pipeline from first lead to signed contract

- Help build Alberta trade and supplier relationships with our operations team

- Represent Medico at Alberta industry and healthcare events

- Report regularly on pipeline, wins and market insights





What you bring

- 3+ years of business development or sales experience in construction, real estate or healthcare

- An established network in Alberta's healthcare, commercial real estate or construction sectors

- Proven record of meeting or beating sales targets

- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely as the company's Alberta lead

- Experience with a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce or similar)

- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across Alberta

- Pay: $60,000 – $100,000 base salary per year, plus commission
