Role & Responsibilities:

- PDI of new heavy equipment attachments for sale, as well as installation
- Prepare equipment for rental, as well as perform rental return assessments
- Perform repairs and general servicing on equipment in shop and field
- Perform custom hydraulic component installations (new aux hydraulic circuits, quick change circuits, lock valves, etc…)
- General troubleshooting of various attachment and carrier issues

Requirements:

- Completed Journeyman / Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician
- Previous work experience in a similar role is a definitive asset
- Forklift experience
- Diplomatic and tactful in communications with customers and co-workers
- Maintain spirit of cooperation with co-workers
- Motivated, self-starter that can take and execute directions
- Can work independently, as well as well as part of a team
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Available on occasion to work outside regular business hours

- Possesses solid interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain working relationships





Physical Demands:

- Extensive sitting, standing, walking, pushing and reaching
- Need full range of motion for reaching, bending, and stooping
- Lifting of items of up to 50 pounds
- May work outside and be exposed to weather
- Fast paced environment
- Exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust

License/Certification:

- Class 5 Driver License (Driver's Abstract required)

Experience:

- Heavy Equipment Industry: 4 years or greater (preferred)
- Mechanical: 5 years (required)

Compensation:

- Negotiable based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour
