GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Location: head office (east end of Toronto)

Availability: full-time

Reports to: the SVP Marketing & Brand Creative Director, working closely with the leadership team.

THE ROLE

This role is for a graphic designer with a passion for creative who can bring our key stories and campaigns to life through cohesive visual storytelling across digital channels, informed by data and the moment in time. You’ll help expand the visuals and voice of bluboho and, most importantly, communicate an exceptional long-lost-friend experience, being an example of it every day.

WHO YOU ARE

You’re keen to create digital and print experiences that draw guests into our world, both in-store and online. You’re driven by both the romance of our brand story and the data that shows what drives revenue.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Understand and adhere to brand guidelines, ensuring the bluboho experience is consistently delivered across all mediums in a loving and uncompromising manner.

- Design digital media content, including marketing emails, ads and some web campaign updates.

- Produce minimal print material, including store signage and collateral.

- Collaborate with the creative, marketing, social, e-commerce and operations teams to develop and execute aligned campaigns and continually improve our visual design and branding.

- Support creative direction for photoshoots when necessary.

- Assist with copywriting for various channels, including the website,



digital ads and emails.

- Manage and execute projects and assets from concept to completion.

- Lightly and systematically retouch provided product and lifestyle images.

- Ensure the right products are featured meticulously across all social and e-commerce platforms, especially during new collection launches.

- Enthusiastically take on any other design, branding or digital projects that may arise.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

- 2+ years of graphic design experience

- A detail-oriented and highly organized work approach

- The ability to manage tight deadlines

- Resourcefulness

- A positive attitude

- A strong sense of style and knowledge of the jewelry industry

- Excellent communication skills

- A college or university degree (advertising, graphic design or a related field preferred)

- Proficiency in Mac hardware and software, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Klaviyo

- Bonus points: an understanding of Shopify
