One of our manufacturing clients in Windsor - Essex, ON region is looking for a Product Development Manager for their manufacturing facility.

Pay - $100k-$120k/year Responsibilities:

- Lead the R&D; team in identifying current product opportunities and innovations aligned with business objectives.

- Manage the product development process, including formulation, testing, factory trials, scale-up, and commercialization.

- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and external partners to ensure successful product launches.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across laboratory and manufacturing operations.

- Train and mentor R&D; team members to strengthen technical capabilities.

- Maintain product formulations, recipes, processing instructions, and technical documentation.





- Provide technical and process training to production supervisors and relevant team members.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

- 5 7 years of experience in food product development, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of product development, R&D; processes, and project management.

- Proven experience leading product development projects through commercialization.

- Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset.

- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
