We are a well established, small animal practice in Burnaby looking for the perfect Veterinary Assistant, ready to establish a long term career with our practice.

We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and skilled attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a strong knowledge of veterinary procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, managing medical records, and providing general veterinary support. Responsibilities:

- Greet clients and patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records.




- Assist with the daily care of animals, including feeding, bathing, and cleaning cages.
- Provide general information about the clinic and services offered.
- Maintain a clean and organized veterinary clinic.
- Process payments for services rendered.
- Assisting the Veterinarian with procedures as needed.

The current opening is for Saturday and Sunday day shifts with the possibility for some hours during the weekdays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
