Igneous Adventure Corp DBA Liquid Lifestyles is looking for Trip Leaders to join our team for a fun and exciting 2027 season on the Clearwater River!

Job Description:Liquid Lifestyles is a premium whitewater rafting operator who pride themselves on safety being the number one priority. We’re looking for Trip Leaders with the same outlook and ability to prioritize safety above all else while still keeping it fun and engaging for guests. Our daily trips take place down the lovely Clearwater river with options for full day trips, half-day adventure trips and family friendly options for the little adrenaline junkies. As Trip Leader, you will be in charge of overseeing the river team while on trips and ensuring they follow all procedures put into place by the River Operations Manager.

Our Offer:

Job type: Full-time seasonal
Wage:$38.40/hr
Work location: 440 Eden rd Clearwater BC and on the Clearwater River
Operational season: 6 months
Expected start date: April 01, 2027
Expected end date: September 30, 2027
Language of work: English speaking but German, French or Spanish an asset

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Navigate guests safely through class I-IV rapids in varying conditions
- Escort groups to the various other outdoor activities on the trips
- Train the river team to our standards and ensure protocols are followed
- Ensuring logs, records and reports are being executed properly
- Plan daily trips
- Assist in developing new trips
- Lead guests in safety demonstrations and drills




- Operate communication devices (including emergency devices)
- Monitor and maintain equipment
- Provide outdoor, wilderness and wildlife information
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Helping to ensure all egress to the river and activities are safe for guests

Certifications:

- Swiftwater Rescue Technician
- Wilderness First Aid 50hr. (80hr. Preferred)
- 5+ Years Whitewater Guiding Experience (Rafting or Kayaking)
- Advanced River Kayak Instructor
- Post Secondary Diploma or Degree in Outdoor Education or Tourism(Not required but an asset)
- Class IV Drivers License (Not required but an asset)
- Must be physically fit, work well under pressure and work well in a fast paced environment

Pay: $38.40 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week

Experience:

- Instruction and guiding: 3 years (preferred)
- Class 4 Whitewater: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Wilderness First Aid (preferred)
- Swiftwater Rescue (preferred)
- Level 2 Kayak Instructor/Leader (preferred)
