Job Title: Pallet Repair Technician

Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Pallet Repair Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and rebuilding damaged pallets to ensure they meet quality and safety standards for supply chain and warehouse use. This position requires physical stamina, comfortable use of power tools, and strict adherence to workplace safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspection & Sorting: Inspect incoming pallets for broken, missing, or damaged boards, blocks, and fasteners; determine whether pallets can be repaired or must be recycled.
- Pallet Repair: Use hand and pneumatic power tools (nail guns, saws, pry bars, hammers) to remove damaged components and install replacement wood or materials.
- Manual Material Handling: Manually lift, flip, move, and stack wooden pallets weighing up to 35 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, such as manual/pneumatic pallet jacks and conveyors, to transport materials across the floor.
- Quality & Output: Ensure all repaired pallets meet company quality criteria and structural durability standards while working efficiently to meet daily production goals.
- Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean and safe workstation by removing scrap wood, loose nails,



and debris; consistently wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toe boots.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Physical Capability: Ability to repeatedly lift, push, pull, carry, and stack objects weighing up to 35 lbs continuously, as well as stand, bend, stoop, and reach for full shifts.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience or comfort operating pneumatic nail guns, reciprocating saws, hammers, and basic hand tools.
- Work Experience: Prior experience in pallet repair, carpentry, construction, building maintenance, or warehouse/manufacturing environments is an asset (training provided for entry-level applicants).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to quickly identify structural defects in lumber and ensure proper alignment during repair.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual attendance, and commitment to working safely in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Permanent, Full time

Pay: $24.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
