Job Description

Greenway Truck Repair is looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated Truck & Trailer Mechanic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist our mechanics with truck and trailer repairs, maintenance, and general shop duties.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist mechanics with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Help with brake, suspension, tire, lighting, and other mechanical repairs.
- Assist with oil changes, servicing, and preventive maintenance.
- Help diagnose mechanical issues under the supervision of mechanics.
- Organize tools, equipment, and parts required for repairs.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organized workshop.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Perform other shop-related duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements





- No mechanic's licence required.
- Previous experience in a truck or trailer repair shop is an asset.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools preferred.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced mechanics.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
