Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to assist with our full cycle accounting and month end process. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a good understanding of accounting principles and excellent Microsoft Excel skills.

This is a great opportunity to join a excellent team within a growing group of companies in the construction industry, working with the Controller and CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare month end working papers and reconciliations
- Prepare month end journal entries
- Prepare project accounting reports
- Prepare financial analysis
- Prepare ad hoc project reports as needed
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Assist the Controller with the overall month end process

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role for 3+ years
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel




- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in real estate or construction is an asset
- Public practice experience is an asset
- Strong communication skills to interact with vendors, clients, and internal staff
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- CPA designation not required, but considered an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
