Live-In Site Operations Manager

Sunshine Coast Self-Storage in Gibsons, BC is looking for a dependable, hands-on Site Operations Manager to live on-site and run our facility. This role suits someone who enjoys variety: one day you’re helping a new customer choose a unit, the next you’re fixing a door, painting, or tidying the grounds.

What You’ll Do

- Greet customers, answer calls and emails, and handle rentals, move-ins and move-outs
- Process payments and keep accurate records using our management software
- Follow up on overdue accounts in a qualified, friendly way
- Keep the property clean, safe,



secure and looking its best
- Handle landscaping and grounds upkeep (mowing, trimming, weeding, snow and leaf clearing)
- Perform general repairs and carpentry, including doors, latches, fences and minor building fixes
- Paint units, doors and buildings as needed
- Watch over the site and report any security or maintenance issues

What We’re Looking For

- Practical skills in landscaping, carpentry, general repairs and painting
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner
- Comfortable with computers (email, spreadsheets, and learning new software)
- Self-motivated and reliable, able to work independently with little supervision
- Physically able to do outdoor and maintenance work
- Valid driver’s license
- Property management, storage or retail experience is an asset

Hours
Variable hours based on site needs, including some weekends.
