Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined CNC Operator to join our Winnipeg team.

The ideal candidate has some hands-on CNC experience, a basic understanding of machining processes, and a willingness to develop their skills. We are not looking for an experienced programmer or journeyman machinist. Training will be provided on our equipment, materials, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate CNC routers and other machining equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare materials, load programs, and assist with machine setups and tool changes.
- Read technical drawings and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Monitor machining operations to maintain quality and productivity.
- Assist with troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and process improvements.
- Maintain production records and a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Previous CNC operating experience and basic knowledge of machining processes.
- Ability to read drawings and use calipers, micrometers,



and other measuring instruments.
- Ability to perform basic math, geometry, and trigonometry calculations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Commitment to workplace safety, honesty, integrity, and dependability.
- Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work unrestricted in Canada.
- Must pass a background investigation as part of the selection process.
- Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.

Experience with CNC routers, CAD/CAM software, woodworking CNC, or plastics machining is an asset but not required.
