Overview

As a Hotel Housekeeper, you’ll help create clean, comfortable rooms and shared spaces that make guests feel welcome. You’ll use cleaning equipment and approved products carefully, follow sanitation and safety procedures, and respond to guest requests with attentive customer service. Your impact: Consistent, thorough cleaning helps guests enjoy a comfortable stay and supports a protected environment for guests and coworkers.

Duties

- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas; vacuum, mop, and perform floor care.
- Change linens, replenish supplies, and report maintenance needs or room concerns.
- Use and maintain cleaning equipment, following product labels and safety data sheets (SDS).
- Handle chemical agents safely, prevent cross-contamination, and follow hotel emergency procedures.
- Coordinate with housekeeping management and other hotel teams to meet daily service needs.





Skills

- Essential: Cleaning experience or the ability to learn hotel housekeeping procedures; attention to detail; reliable customer service and communication.
- Essential: Safe chemical handling, sanitation practices, and willingness to follow safety data sheets (SDS).
- Essential: Ability to perform manual handling, including lifting and moving supplies, and to stay active throughout a shift.
- Preferred: Hotel experience, hotel housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience; floor cleaning and vacuuming skills.
- Preferred: Familiarity with floor care, cleaning equipment, hotel housekeeping management, or housekeeping management.
