EBC is looking for a Claims Specialist to join our Legal Team.
The successful candidate will provide guidance to project teams in the preparation and submission of construction claims. In collaboration with construction teams, the claims specialist will: Assess the causes and impacts of schedule delays and cost overruns on construction projects; Oversee the compilation of data and the preparation of charts, schedules, and visual aids that simplify complex issues; Develop claim strategiesand provide recommendations to support successful outcomes; Participate in the preparation and review of requests for compensation and formal claims submissions; Coordinate activities among various stakeholders, including project teams, accounting, legal counsel, and external consultants; Assist and support project teams during negotiations with clients; Contribute to continuousimprovement initiatives by collaborating with Project Services and other internal departments.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Architecture; Bilingual in English andFrench,



with the ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across Canada; Mobility and willingnessto travel to project sites and regional offices approximately once per month; Project Management certification or specialization (e.
PMP) is considered an asset; Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software.

Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, localization, and internal equity.
