Position: 6-month Fixed Term Contract.

Note: Strong likelihood of contract extension.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

- Active registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN).
- Access to personal vehicle is required (25% travel time)
- A professional attitude and neat appearance.
- Experience with senior care is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Sound judgment under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver care aligned with NSCN scope of practice and facility procedures.
- Adapt quickly to new environments and facility-specific protocols.




- Accurately document all resident care activities, including charting in PointClickCare.
- Administer medications safely and according to care plans.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident, employee, and organizational information.
- Build positive rapport with residents, families, coworkers, and management.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and incidents.
- Supervise and support facility staff as needed during shift coverage.
- Provide clear shift reports and updates.

Schedule and Travel Requirements:

- Transportation and accommodation support may be provided when applicable.
- Shifts may include: 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, Days, nights, weekdays, and weekends.

Job Types: Fixed Term Contract

Required Certifications:

- LPN/RPN License (NSCN)
- First Aid & CPR Certification

Pay: $40.00-$46.00 per hour
