Overview

The Pharmacist supports safe, effective medication use through attentive patient care, accurate medication administration, and clear communication with patients and care teams. The role applies medical terminology and sound judgment to help coordinate treatment and support continuity of care.

Responsibilities

- Review medication information and treatment plans, identify potential concerns, and communicate relevant findings to the care team.
- Provide patient care by explaining medication use in clear, accessible language and responding to questions with care.
- Support medication administration in accordance with established procedures, documenting actions accurately and sharing significant updates.
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate care, clarify medication-related information,



and help maintain consistent treatment support.

Qualifications

Required: Practical patient care skills, familiarity with medical terminology, careful documentation, clear communication, and the ability to support medication administration safely and accurately. Preferred: Hospital experience, acute care experience, and experience supporting pediatric patients are valuable strengths for contributing to varied care needs. Pay: $55.00 per hour
