As an Automotive Service Advisor, you’ll connect customers with the automotive repair services their vehicles need. You’ll listen to concerns, explain recommended work, coordinate service updates, and support a smooth experience from check-in through payment. Your customer service and sales skills help customers make informed decisions while keeping the service team aligned.

Requirements:

- Previous automotive service advisor experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
- Comfortable using shop management software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
- Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

- Welcome customers, discuss vehicle concerns, and document service requests accurately.
- Coordinate with mechanics and service staff to clarify repair needs, timelines, and updates.
- Explain repair recommendations and options clearly, using mechanical knowledge to support informed decisions.
- Present relevant services, identify appropriate upselling opportunities, and handle payments and cash accurately.

Qualifications

Required: Clear customer service communication, accurate recordkeeping, basic computer skills, and the ability to explain automotive repair recommendations and handle cash carefully. Mechanical knowledge supports effective conversations with customers and mechanics. Preferred: Dealership experience, mechanic experience, and familiarity with sales and upselling are valuable strengths for guiding customers through service options and supporting a positive repair experience.

Pay: $39,100.00-$92,300.00 per year
