Job Summary:

The Rubber Installer is responsible for cutting, preparing, and installing rubber ejection materials onto flat and rotary corrugated cutting dies. This position plays an important role in ensuring our dies meet quality standards and perform effectively during the die-cutting process.

The ideal candidate is detailed oriented, enjoys hands on work, and is comfortable using tools. Previous experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:

Rubber Installation:

- Cut, shape, and install rubber ejection materials onto flat and rotary corrugated cutting dies.
- Select and apply appropriate rubber materials according to job specifications and instructions.
- Ensure rubber is properly positioned secured, and installed to meet quality standards.
- Use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with other die making production tasks as required.

Quality Control:

- Inspect completed work to ensure accurate rubber placement and proper adhesion.




- Identify and correct installation issues or defects.
- Maintain consistent workmanship and attention to details.
- Report any quality concerns or material issues to the Production Manager.

Documentation & Workflow:

- Follow job specifications, production instructions, and Production Manager direction.
- Complete assigned work accurately and within production timelines.
- Work collaboratively with other production team members to meet deadlines.
- Assist with preparing completed dies for final inspection and shipment.

Safety & Housekeeping:

- Use hand tools and materials safely according to company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

· Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.

· Comfortable working with hand tools and performing hands on tasks.

· Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.

· Willingness to learn recent skills and manufacturing processes.

· Previous experience in manufacturing, rubber installation, or die-making is considered an asset.

· Familiarity with corrugated cutting dies or technical drawings is an asset but not required.

Previous experience in die-making is not required. Training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
