Overview

The SKETCHUP DRAFTER/DESIGNER develops transparent, accurate digital drawings and visual models to communicate design intent. The role uses Sketch-Up tools to prepare and refine 2D and 3D project materials, supporting coordination and informed decisions throughout the design process.

Responsibilities

- Create millwork drawings, and layout using SketchUp. Bringing to life the customers vision, and also accurately drawings cabinetry.

- Create and update 2D drawings, 3D models, and schematics using SketchUp and other appropriate CAD software.
- Review design information, incorporate revisions, and check drawings for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Coordinate drawing details with project colleagues and organize files for efficient review and handoff.
- Your impact: Clear, dependable drawings help colleagues understand design intent and coordinate their work.

Qualifications

Required: Practical drafting and CAD skills,



attention to detail, and the ability to interpret design information and produce accurate drawings and models. Clear communication and organized file management support effective collaboration and reliable project handoffs. Preferred: Familiarity with SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, schematics, or 2D animation is advantageous. Construction experience can help you understand project context and coordinate drawing details.

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
