Senior Learning Designer

Contractual position – hybrid role.

Why this role matters now:

We are looking for a Senior Learning Designer to join us on a fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension. You will bring structure, judgment and fresh thinking to an established portfolio of learning programs while collaborating closely with the people who market, coordinate and deliver them. This is a role for someone who can improve what exists while building what comes next. You will balance creative design with the practical realities of deadlines, facilitator readiness and client expectations. The person who is meant for this role will ask thoughtful questions, make sound decisions and keep the work moving.

What you must bring:

- A portfolio showing learning programs or lesson plans you personally designed, with examples of how they were used or improved.

- Demonstrated experience applying adult-learning principles to instructor-led and/or virtual learning, beyond content production alone.

- Evidence of leading projects from discovery and stakeholder input through drafting, review, launch and iteration.

- Experience preparing facilitators/instructors to deliver learning consistently, including responding to real-world delivery feedback.

- Robust written and spoken English, demonstrated through clear learning materials and effective stakeholder conversations. Bilingualism (Spanish and French) is an asset.

-The ability to travel across Canada on an as-needed basis.

What would give you an edge:

- Experience designing leadership-development or workplace-behaviour programs.

- Experience facilitating workshops or training sessions yourself.

- Familiarity with learning management systems and the operational realities of program rollout.

- Experience developing original frameworks, tools or reusable methodologies.

- Confidence contributing as a subject-matter partner on client or business-development conversations.

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
