Waverley Heights Child Care Inc. is looking for a caring, organized, and dependable Program Supervisor to join our team. We are an 85-space centre located inside the South Winnipeg Community Centre, offering preschool and school-age programs.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, supporting staff, and helping with the daily operations of a busy centre. Someone who takes initiative, communicates openly, and brings a positive approach to everyday challenges.

About the position

You will work closely with the Executive Director, sharing your time between the programs and the office. This position includes approximately 60% program time and 40% office responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting staff in creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
- Helping plan engaging activities and supporting positive guidance practices.
- Assisting with staff schedules, daily coverage, and program organization.
- Building positive relationships with children and families.
- Assisting with inclusion support plans, ISP and URIS requirements.
- Using Fastoche and helping maintain records and family communication.




- Assisting with administrative duties and basic bookkeeping.
- Taking responsibility for the centre when the Executive Director is away.

What we are looking for

- Manitoba ECE II or III classification.
- Three to four years of management experience in a child care setting.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Confidence supporting staff and handling concerns respectfully.
- Experience with preschool and school-age children.
- Comfort with computers, record keeping, and office responsibilities.
- Current First Aid and CPR, and required satisfactory background checks.

Pay: $18.64-$38.15 per hour
