Job Description

We are seeking Mandarin-speaking part-time tutors with strong subject knowledge and experience with the Australian education system. Tutors will provide personalized online academic support to students studying in Australia and internationally, helping them strengthen subject knowledge, address learning gaps, improve academic performance, and prepare for assessments and examinations.

Subjects

- Australian High School (Years 9–12): VCE (Victoria) and Queensland senior secondary curriculum, including General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Science, Economics, Business Management, Accounting, Legal Studies, Geography, History, English, Media, and Social Studies.
- University Foundation & Undergraduate Courses: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, International Business, Tourism Management, Applied Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics,



Statistics, Environmental Science, Education, Communications, Journalism, Sociology, Public Administration, and International Relations.
- Foundation Courses: Academic English, Business, Science, and university pathway preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver online one-on-one or small-group tutoring tailored to students' academic needs.
- Support regular coursework, unit assessments, exam preparation, and ATAR-related assessment preparation.
- Provide guidance on academic writing, assignments, and subject-specific study strategies.
- Help students address learning gaps, strengthen subject knowledge, and prepare for upcoming courses and transitions between academic levels.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; a strong academic background from an Australian university is an asset.
- Robust knowledge of the VCE or Queensland senior secondary curriculum, or relevant Australian university-level courses, including subject content, assessment requirements, and examination criteria.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and strong English communication skills.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience with Australian school curricula or university-level courses is preferred.
- Strong subject expertise, patience, clear communication skills, and a structured, student-focused teaching approach.
