Shipper / Receiver - Warehouse Associate
Wage: $23/hr
Location: South Edmonton Warehouse
Permanent Full Time - Day Shift
Role Responsibilities:
This position will be involved with all aspects of Shipping & Receiving for an industrial supply/distributor. Job duties include receiving trucks (flat deck and dry van) unloading pallets, receiving items into inventory system, putting away items, picking orders, packaging and shipping orders out as well as some inventory and maintaining warehouse safety & cleanliness.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide consistent and detailed order picking / Loading / staging
- Process orders based on order timelines and instructions
- Prepare and stage orders according to schedules
- Identify and source materials from appropriate locations, utilize appropriate equipment to process for orders.
- Unloading trucks by forklift
- Provide proper maintenance of equipment and keep work area clean and safe for customers and other employees.
- Receive, identify and stock incoming materials as per Receiving Procedures.
- Perform other duties as directed by General Manager/ Operations Manager/ Sr. Customer Service Rep.
