About Us:

We are looking for a Software QA Analyst to own quality across our web-based products, from the first read of a user story to the final release sign-off. You will turn requirements into test cases, test manually and with Playwright automation, and work closely with developers and the product owner to catch issues early. You will also be the bridge between client-reported problems and the development team, turning vague reports into clear, reproducible bug tickets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria; flag gaps, ambiguities and untestable requirements before development starts
- Write and maintain test cases, test plans and test data covering happy paths, edge cases and failure cases
- Take part in sprint planning, backlog refinement and estimation, and sizing QA effort for each story
- Perform functional, exploratory, regression and smoke testing across a range of web-based products
- Run user acceptance testing support and release-readiness checks
- Maintain test suite database within TestMo
- Develop and maintain automated end-to-end and API tests using Playwright and AI coding assistants
- Keep the test suite reliable: fix flaky or broken tests, refactor shared code, and keep tests in step with product changes
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and review results on every build
- Troubleshoot client-reported issues: reproduce them, gather logs and screenshots, and isolate the root cause where possible
- Write clear, reproducible bug tickets, and clarify or triage existing ones with severity and priority
- Verify fixes and run regression testing before tickets are closed
- Work with developers and the product owner to build quality in from the start, not only at the end
- Report on test coverage, defect trends and release risk




- Produce and improve QA processes, documentation and team standards

General Skills and Requirements

- Experience in software quality assurance or adjacent technical role for web applications
- Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated tests using a test automation framework
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, the software development lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum
- Experience writing test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience with a defect tracking tool such as Jira and TestMo
- Comfort using browser developer tools to inspect network requests, console errors, and page elements
- Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows
- Strong attention to detail and a curious, "what could break?" mindset
- Clear written communication, especially in bug reports and test documentation
- Methodical troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Comfortable managing several products and priorities at once
- Team-oriented, and confident raising quality concerns with developers and the product owner

Bonus Skills (Assets):

- Experience with API testing (Postman, or Playwright's API testing features)
- Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins
- Basic SQL for validating data and setting up test conditions
- Exposure to performance testing
- Experience in a client-facing or support-adjacent role
- QA certifications
