We are hiring for the role of live-in resident manager for a 72 unit residential complex in Victoria, BC. The complex is close to all amenities and steps away from the Gorge waterway parks.

We are looking to hire one full-time on-site building manager/caretaker as well a part-time helper that can assist in the day to day workload and weekend duties. Only candidates who provide full name of partner/helper, resumes and references will be considered.

The preferred applicant should display:

- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Patience and Good Communication, strong problem solving and diplomacy skills
- Knowledge of Computer Software including Microsoft 365, good typing skills
- Good understanding of the BC Residential Tenancy Act and RTB procedures

Additional Duties include but are not limited to:

- Renting suites and responding to residents, set viewing dates/times
- Cleaning and small repairs (drywall and paint, minor plumbing, HVAC filter changes)
- Administrative work and rental payment processing and follow-ups, entering new tenants in system, emailing documents for signing and issue notices.
- Exterior Grounds cleaning and care, landscaping and snow removal
- Responding to after-hours emergencies / flexible hours
- Routine suite inspections,



following RTB procedures and execution of RTB steps.

Position requires to live on-site.

Must have own vehicle and preferably a truck.

Previous experience an asset but not required.

Must enjoy meeting people and have good interpersonal skills, be handy and willing to learn. Candidates need to be physically able to do physical work (painting, drywall work, suite renovations, landscaping), carry tools and supplies around building and walk up stairs.
