Overview

As a Sales Representative, you’ll assist customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products. You’ll support a welcoming retail experience through clear communication, attentive service, and organized follow-through.

Duties

- Engage customers in person, by phone and email, answer questions with professional phone etiquette by accurately educating them on the piano products & services offered.
- Support retail sales by keeping the pianos clean, dusting, light store maintenance
- Process transactions using POS systems, handle payments accurately, and apply basic math during sales process.
- Organize daily tasks and manage time effectively while coordinating next steps with colleagues. Your impact: helpful recommendations and accurate transactions make shopping easier for customers and support smooth store operations.
- Continuously improve product knowledge by reading trade periodicals, relevant books & publications, taking advantage of manufacturer tools to aid product knowledge & sales skills, study competitive products, services & companies, attend trade-related events




- Attend concerts or store events or off-site promotions.
- Participate in lead-generating activities to actively seek out new clientele.

Skills

Required: Ability to play the piano (not high level), clear verbal and written communication, friendly and knowledgeable customer service, proven sales experience, time management, organizational skills, self-motivated, English proficiency, basic math, cash handling, and comfort using POS technology are practical capabilities for serving customers and completing transactions. Preferred: Retail sales experience, including product demos, can strengthen product recommendations; bilingual or multilingual communication is an advantage when assisting a diverse customer base.

Pay: $33,800.00-$80,000.00 per year
