Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Associate to join an Allergy Kitchen in Markham, Ontario.

The ideal candidate will have experience in food production, food preparation, packaging, and sanitation, with a strong understanding of food safety and allergen cross-contact prevention.

The successful candidate will assist with preparing, assembling, packaging, and labeling food products while following strict hygiene, quality control, and allergen management procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with daily food preparation and production activities.

- Prepare, portion, assemble, and package food products according to instructions.

- Follow strict allergen control and cross-contact prevention procedures.





- Handle ingredients carefully to prevent contamination.

- Read and follow recipes, ingredient lists, and production instructions.

- Accurately label and package finished food products.

- Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.

- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and workstations.

- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

- Wear required PPE, including gloves, hairnets, and protective clothing.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, commercial kitchens, food packaging, or general labour preferred.

- Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.

- Knowledge of food allergens and cross-contact prevention is an asset.
