Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Farm General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our vegetable farm operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in farming practices, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role requires hands-on involvement in various farming activities, ensuring the farm runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of productivity and sustainability.

Duties

- Manage all aspects of farm operations, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
- Maintain and repair farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee irrigation systems to ensure proper water supply for crops.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various farming tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of the farm to monitor crop health and soil conditions.
- Implement effective pest management strategies to protect crops.
- Supervise farm workers, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Maintain accurate records related to crop production, labor, and equipment maintenance.




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in heavy equipment operation.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during planting and harvesting seasons.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in horticulture or agricultural management is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge .
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in managing farm operations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and collaboration.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
