Poultry Processing Worker

We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and flexible Poultry Processing Workers to join our production team. This position supports various areas of our poultry processing operation, including Live End, Evisceration, and Cut & Pack. Employees may be assigned to different positions based on production needs and will be trained to perform a variety of tasks throughout the plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Work in different areas of the poultry processing facility, including Live End, Evisceration, and Cut & Pack.
- Perform a variety of poultry processing, handling, packaging, and production tasks.
- Ensure pre-work inspection of work area is complete prior to start up and equipment is functional within acceptable range.
- Safely operate and work around production equipment and machinery.
- Follow instructions from Supervisors and Lead Hands.
- Maintain required production standards and line speed.
- Handle poultry and products safely and according to company procedures.
- Follow food safety, GMP, HACCP, animal welfare, and workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or product quality concerns to the Supervisor or Lead Hand.
- Work cooperatively with team members and support different production areas as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in poultry processing, food production, manufacturing, or a similar environment is an asset.
- Previous poultry processing experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.




- Willingness to work in different production departments and learn a variety of tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and versatile with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to food safety, animal welfare, quality, and workplace safety.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.

Work Environment

- Indoor poultry-processing environment.
- Employees may be assigned to different production departments throughout the facility.
- Exposure to live birds, poultry products, noise, and wet and cold conditions.
- Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and production line requirements.
- Role may require prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
- This is a safety-sensitive position.

- Salary: $19.00/hour
- Hours: 37.5/Week
