Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to go to student home to teach. support students across various subjects, with a focus on fostering academic growth and confidence. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong teaching skills, particularly in Math, Science, or related areas. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys by providing personalized instruction in a supportive environment.

This role is for grade 12 Math and science in home tutoring. only candidates who can travel to Minaker drive contact.

Duties

- Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions tailored to students’ individual needs
- Assist students with understanding core concepts in Math, Science, or other relevant subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans and learning materials to enhance student engagement and comprehension
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Support students in developing effective study habits and problem-solving skills
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and confidence
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and educational staff to ensure student success




- Utilize computer skills to incorporate educational technology into tutoring sessions
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and areas for improvement

Experience

- Prior experience working with children in an educational or tutoring setting is preferred
- Strong background in Math, Computer Science, or related fields such as Special Education or Classroom Teaching
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively
- Experience with tutoring or teaching in a classroom environment is advantageous
- Familiarity with educational software and computer-based learning tools is desirable
- Passion for education and helping students achieve their academic goals

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $18.25-$25.00 per hour

- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
