Job Overview

As a Long haul truck driver, you transport freight over extended routes, helping keep shipments moving safely and reliably. The role combines commercial driving, careful trip planning, and attention to vehicle and cargo condition. You’ll coordinate with colleagues to support timely deliveries and clear shipment updates.

Responsibilities

- Operate a truck on long-distance routes and transport freight in line with trip instructions and applicable road and safety procedures.
- Inspect the vehicle and cargo before, during, and after trips; report concerns and arrange appropriate follow-up.
- Maintain accurate trip, delivery, and vehicle records, and communicate delays or shipment updates to relevant colleagues.
- Use heavy equipment or a forklift when needed to support freight handling,



and apply basic automotive repair knowledge to identify issues.

Qualifications

Required: Practical commercial driving capability, sound safety awareness, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to manage long-distance trips responsibly. Preferred: Experience transporting freight, forklift use, heavy equipment operation, or automotive repair skills that support effective loading and vehicle care. Your impact: Dependable deliveries help colleagues coordinate shipments and keep customers informed.

Pay: $8,000.00-$12,000.00 per month
