Job Overview

Machine Builders are sought for steady-day contract positions assembling and preparing machinery. In this hands-on role, you’ll use mechanical knowledge, tools, and technical drawings to complete accurate work and support a smooth manufacturing workflow.

Duties

- Assemble machine components using hand tools and power tools, following blueprints and schematics.
- Measure parts with calipers, perform machining and welding tasks, and check completed work for accuracy.
- Handle and move materials safely, using a forklift where appropriate, and keep the work area organized.
- Your impact: Accurate assembly helps colleagues keep production moving and deliver dependable equipment.

Experience

Required: Practical mechanical knowledge, protected use of hand and power tools,



and the ability to follow blueprints or schematics and measure components with calipers. Careful assembly and attention to accuracy support quality work across manufacturing tasks. Preferred: Experience with machining, welding, forklift operation, or warehouse work is an advantage, along with familiarity with manufacturing environments and equipment assembly. These capabilities help you contribute effectively on steady-day contract assignments.

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
