About the Role

We’re looking for motivated, outgoing individuals to join Stellr Solar as Solar Appointment Setters.

You’ll speak with homeowners door-to-door, introduce them to the potential benefits of solar, and book qualified appointments for our solar consultants.

No previous solar or door-to-door experience is required. Your focus is starting conversations, building interest, and setting appointments. Our consultants handle proposals, detailed technical questions, and closing contracts.

What You’ll Do

● Go door-to-door in assigned neighbourhoods and speak with homeowners.

● Introduce Stellr Solar and explain how a consultation can help homeowners explore electricity savings.

● Identify interested homeowners and qualify appointments.

● Schedule consultations for our solar sales team.

● Accurately record homeowner details and track your results.

● Represent the company professionally and respect homeowners’ decisions.

What We’re Looking For

● Strong communication skills and confidence approaching new people.

● A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

● Reliability, self-motivation, and a goal-oriented mindset.

● Comfort working outdoors and walking through neighbourhoods.

● Ability to handle rejection professionally and keep going.

● Sales or customer service experience is an asset, but not required.

Appointment Setter → Closer → Self-Generating Sales Representative

Appointment Setter: Build your communication skills, generate interest, and book qualified consultations.

Closer: Learn to lead consultations, explain solar proposals, and close deals, with higher commission opportunities.

Self-Generating Sales Representative: Generate your own appointments and close your own deals, qualifying for higher commission payouts for managing the full sales process.

Advancement depends on performance, demonstrated skills, and readiness for additional responsibility.

Compensation and Earning Potential

Starting commission: $2,000 per installed solar system resulting from your qualified appointments.

First-year sales representatives can earn $100,000+ in annual commissions, while top-performing sales representatives earn $150,000–$250,000+ annually.

These annual figures describe potential earnings in sales roles, including closing and self-generated sales.

Schedule and Work Environment

● Full-time and part-time openings.

● Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability preferred.

● In-person work throughout Halifax Regional Municipality.

● Primarily outdoors, walking through residential neighbourhoods.
