Job Summary

The Private Caregiver provides respectful, individualized support that helps people maintain comfort, dignity, and daily routines at home. This role combines personal care, practical household assistance, and attentive observation, adapting support to each person’s needs and preferences.

Duties

- Assist with daily patient care, senior care, personal routines, mobility, and protected heavy lifting as appropriate.
- Prepare meals, support medication administration as directed, and provide companionship and attentive care.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable home environment and communicate relevant observations to the person’s care team.
- Offer considerate support to individuals with dementia or disabilities, and provide hospice care when appropriate to the care plan.

Requirements

Required: Practical caregiving skills, clear communication, patience, attention to safety, and the ability to assist with daily care, meal preparation, cleaning, and medication routines as directed. Preferred: Experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, nursing, patient care, senior care, hospice care, dementia care, or supporting individuals with disabilities.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
