With distribution facilities across Canada and continued expansion into the United States, we are investing in the people, technology, and systems needed to support our growth.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Business Systems Administrator to manage our business applications, coordinate IT services, and improve the efficiency of our operations.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Business Systems Administrator will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, optimization, and integration of our core business systems, with a primary focus on Oracle NetSuite ERP administration.
This individual will also serve as our internal technology lead, coordinating with our managed IT service provider and external software vendors to ensure our systems are reliable, secure, and meeting the needs of the business.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Administration & Business Systems
- Serve as the primary administrator for Oracle NetSuite, including user management, permissions, workflows, configurations, and system maintenance.
- Support NetSuite WMS, inventory control, purchasing, order processing, accounting, and reporting functions.
- Develop and maintain NetSuite saved searches, dashboards, reports, automated workflows, scripts and other system configurations.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate solutions with external consultants or developers when necessary.
- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes, improve data accuracy, and eliminate manual tasks.
- Support integrations between NetSuite and other business applications, including e-commerce, customer management, and shipping platforms.
- Coordinate system enhancements, testing, documentation, and employee training.
- Support business systems requirements associated with our Canadian and U.S. operations.
IT Coordination & Vendor Management
- Act as the primary internal liaison with our managed IT service provider.
- Coordinate IT support requests, projects, equipment procurement, software deployments,
and infrastructure improvements.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure outstanding issues and projects are resolved promptly.
- Oversee user onboarding and offboarding, software licensing, and technology asset management.
- Work with external providers to maintain appropriate cybersecurity, backup, access control, and disaster recovery practices.
- Support the administration and ongoing improvement of company-wide productivity and communication applications.
- Develop and maintain internal IT policies, procedures, and documentation.
Systems Improvement & Project Management
- Evaluate existing technology and recommend improvements that support operational efficiency and business growth.
- Coordinate software implementations, integrations, upgrades, and system changes.
- Work closely with accounting, sales, operations, and supply chain teams to understand business requirements.
- Manage relationships with external software consultants, developers, and technology vendors.
- Support electronic data interchange (EDI), process automation, and reporting initiatives.
- Ensure technology projects are completed on time and systems remain scalable as the company grows.

- Strong understanding of business processes, including inventory management, purchasing, sales order processing, and accounting.
- Experience managing system configurations, user permissions, reporting, and workflows.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating external IT service providers and managing technology projects.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical employees.
- A practical,
solutions-oriented approach with a robust sense of ownership and accountability.
