Job Overview

As a Machine Operator, The Machine Operator operates a plastic injection molding machine in order to shape plastic parts, you’ll support manufacturing work by operating equipment, using tools safely, and keeping tasks organized. You’ll follow work instructions, maintain an orderly work area, and coordinate with colleagues to keep production moving smoothly. Your impact: careful, consistent work helps the team complete assemblies reliably and keep materials flowing.

Responsibilities

- • Monitor and operates equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
- • Relies on work instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- • Inspect and quality checks product, to verify the product meets high-quality standards. Given that the product needs to meet company and legal specifications. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Shift Lead Hand/Supervisor.
- • The ability to meet deadlines and execute tasks accurately and timely is extremely important.
- • Maintains a work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed health and safety regulations.
- • Follows safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation. Identifies and reports unsafe operations to Supervisor immediately.




- • Works under the guidance of a Shift Lead Hand/Supervisor to perform and complete the assigned duties in a timely manner.
- • Performs a variety of tasks such as: inspecting for quality, trimming, assembling, labeling, packaging, wrapping skids and grinding material, housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
- • All employees are responsible for ensuring company resources are used in an effective manner to ensure best operating cost.
- • Recommends process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

3. General math and writing skills are required.

4. Ability to multitask and handle task alone is a must; however, team work and cooperation is also important.

5. Ability to adhere to the culture and written Health and Safety policies in the plant

6. Proven ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude.

Hours: Monday to Friday 11pm-7am

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
