Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs, offering knowledgeable advice on gardening, landscaping, and horticulture items
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain attractive product displays through effective merchandising and ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and resolving concerns promptly
- Support landscape maintenance activities in the store or outdoor areas as needed to keep the environment inviting and tidy
- Assist with e-commerce order fulfillment by preparing online orders for pickup or delivery when required




- Communicate product features and benefits clearly in English; multilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customers effectively

Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging a broader customer base
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and merchandising techniques
- Passion for gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance to better assist customers with their projects
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory, maintain displays, and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also providing independent support in customer interactions
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and online order processing is beneficial

Pay: $17.60-$30.09 per hour
