This newly created leadership role will oversee the day-to-day operations of this locally owned and operated company serving a diverse agriculture customer base across Southern Alberta. Working closely with ownership, the successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient project execution, strong financial management, and sustainable business growth. Compensation & Hours:

- As this is a newly created role, compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, & overall fit
- Monday through Friday, daytime hours

Position Summary:

- Develop, implement, and improve operational systems,



procedures, and workflows
- Identify inefficiencies and create practical solutions that improve productivity and profitability
- Build scalable processes that support future company growth
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across all departments
- Develop pricing structures and costing systems to improve consistency and margins
- Implement tools and reporting systems that improve visibility and decision-making
- Monitor budgets, job costing, profitability, and key performance indicators
- Analyze operational data and provide recommendations for improvement
- Support forecasting, planning, and business decision-making
- Create accountability, clear expectations, and a positive team culture
- Assist with workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of proven leadership experience in operations management, general management or similar role
- experience managing teams within trades, agriculture, manufacturing, or related industries
- Demonstrated success implementing systems, processes, and operational improvements
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, job costing, and operational analysis
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Confidence making decisions and driving accountability

Bonus Points For:

- Industry-specific refrigeration or HVAC experience is not required, but an asset
- Lean certification
- Post Secondary education in business, finance or related field
