Egis is seeking an Ontario-licensed engineer to develop geotechnical designs for foundations, roadways, slopes, and major projects.
Based in Hamilton, Ontario, the Intermediate Foundations Engineer supports delivery across Canada. The position requires progressive geotechnical design experience in professional services, including large-scale project delivery. It combines engineering analysis, design documentation, project monitoring, and coordination with clients, regulators, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Assess foundations, roadways, slopes, and retaining structuresDevelop ground improvement solutions for project requirementsPrepare technical reports, specifications, and engineering documentationAdvance assigned work through concept and detailed designLiaise with clients, regulators, government bodies, and contractorsRequirements:
Civil Engineering university degreeProfessional Engineer license in OntarioAt least eight years of geotechnical design experienceExperience in a skilled services environmentExcellent written and oral English communication skillsBring Ontario licensure, geotechnical analysis, and project delivery experience to Egis infrastructure work across Canada.
