Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a Shift Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that our team operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members on best practices in customer service and food handling.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Handle cash management duties, including cash handling and reconciliation at the end of shifts.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Assist with interviewing potential candidates for various positions within the restaurant.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality standards.

Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:

- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Proficiency in POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Knowledge of bartending practices is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food handling procedures.
- Previous experience in interviewing candidates is preferred but not mandatory.
