Rio Heating & Cooling is a growing HVAC contractor specializing in residential and commercial HVAC installations, service, maintenance, and mechanical upgrades.

Our projects include residential installations, commercial tenant improvements, and larger mechanical projects for public and private sector clients throughout Greater Vancouver.

We're looking for experienced HVAC technicians who enjoy troubleshooting, solving problems, and taking pride in quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
- Work on heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, RTUs, MUAs,



and VRF/VRV systems.
- Diagnose refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and control system issues.
- Perform installations, start-ups, commissioning, and preventative maintenance.
- Read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

- Red Seal Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic or 4th Year HVAC/R Apprentice.
- Residential and commercial HVAC experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Valid BC driver's licence.
- Reliable, professional, and motivated.

Assets:

- Class B Gas Fitter Ticket.
- Boiler and hydronic heating experience.
- VRF/VRV systems experience.
- Commercial HVAC and controls experience.
- Leadership or foreman experience.
