Victoria Packers is looking for a dependable, hands-on worker to join our slaughterhouse team. This position involves working on the production floor, helping with slaughter operations, handling carcasses, and cleaning the plant and equipment.

Responsibilities

- Assist with slaughter and carcass preparation.
- Safely handle and move carcasses and meat products.
- Use knives, tools, and equipment safely.
- Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the day.
- Help clean and sanitize the plant and equipment after production.
- Follow food safety, humane animal handling, and workplace safety procedures.
- Follow direction from the Plant Manager and work cooperatively with the team.

What We Are Looking For

- Comfort working in a slaughterhouse setting.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in refrigerated areas.
- Attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.
- Previous slaughterhouse, meat processing, or butchering experience is an asset.
