Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to join one of Canada’s Big 5 banks, supporting a large-scale Commercial Payments / Real-Time Rail (RTR) initiative. This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a waterfall-based payments technology project, managing the initiative from planning and requirements through execution, implementation, and completion. The ideal candidate has experience leading large, complex technology projects within a highly regulated financial-services setting and can effectively coordinate business, technology, and program stakeholders.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale Payments / RTR technology project using a waterfall delivery methodology.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, budgets, resource plans, and delivery schedules.
Establish and maintain strong project governance, including status reporting, risk management, issue management, and escalation processes.
Proactively identify delivery risks, roadblocks, and dependencies and drive appropriate mitigation and resolution.
Manage project scope, timelines, financials, resources, and overall delivery against committed milestones.




Prepare and deliver clear project updates and executive-level presentations to senior stakeholders.7+ years of Project Management experience within banking or financial services.
Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, enterprise technology projects from end to end.
Strong waterfall project delivery experience.
Proven ability to establish and manage project governance, schedules, budgets, RAID logs, dependencies, and resource plans.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Real-Time Rail (RTR) experience.
Commercial Banking experience.
